Why do most Jewish people not accept Jesus as Savior?
Most Jewish people do not accept Jesus as Savior because they remain spiritually blinded and cannot see that the One their forefathers crucified is the One to whom they must come for salvation even today. God has not closed the door, but only a few Jews respond in this age of grace.
Les explains that in Romans chapter 3 there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him. In the Old Testament timeline, God dealt primarily with Israel from 2000 B.C. until well into Acts—'Jew only, with exceptions' such as Jonah to Nineveh, Naaman, and Ruth. Now in this age of grace it has flip-flopped: God is primarily calling out Gentiles, but a few Jews. God has not closed the door on the Jew, but most are so blinded they cannot see that the One whom their forefathers crucified is the One to whom they must come for salvation even today. So it is now primarily Gentiles and a few Jews, with no difference in this age of grace.
