Les Feldick Bible Study

What did Les see in Haiti that illustrates the population problem in poor nations?

In Haiti, the scene was abject poverty: people had nothing except children, creating a population explosion. The same pattern marks poor nations, where impoverished families keep having children amid poverty, piling more people upon more people without knowing what to do.

Les explains that after returning from Haiti a month or so earlier, he saw the same thing he associates with the population problem: abject poverty. The people had nothing except kids, with more and more people being piled upon people. He ties this to the population pundits' point that the world is being inundated with people and that some of the most poverty-stricken areas are experiencing a population explosion, as poor people have children in poverty and do not know what to do. For Les, this worldwide perplexity—problems with no answer—is a sign of the end time.
