What should we be aware of about ideas people have concerning what the Bible says?
We must constantly be aware that many preconceived ideas about what the Bible says are not actually found in it. People often assume a verse or teaching is there, but careful examination shows it is not; numerous ideas are not according to Scripture.
Les explains that this point is just as important as the first because many preconceived ideas exist about what the book says, and when you really look at it, it is not there. In a class discussion, a couple had been witnessing to a lady who said she thought it said something, but it did not. So this is what believers have to constantly be aware of: many ideas are not according to Scripture.
