What is Romans chapter 11 about concerning Israel?

Romans chapter 11 addresses Israel's future. It is one of three parenthetical chapters in Romans, where Paul digresses to deal with the Jew. Chapter 9 covers Israel's past, chapter 10 covers God's present dealing with Israel, and chapter 11 covers Israel's future before returning to Romans 8's flow.

Les teaches that Romans 9, 10, and 11 are parenthetical chapters that sit right in the middle of the book of Romans. Paul suddenly digresses to deal with the Jew. Number 9 deals with Israel's past; chapter 10 deals with God's dealing with Israel today in the present; Romans chapter 11 is Israel's future. Then the text goes right back to where it left off with Romans 8 and into chapter 12. Les illustrates this parenthesis by comparing it to a sentence where you insert an enlightening aside in the middle.
