What verse did Martin Luther struggle to understand for years?

Martin Luther struggled for years with Psalms 110 verse 1, which says, “The Lord said unto my Lord, Come sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” He could not comprehend it until he saw it was God crying out to God, because Christ is God.

Les explains that Martin Luther struggled over Psalms 110 verse 1, where the Lord speaks to my Lord and invites Him to sit at His right hand until His enemies are made His footstool. Luther could not comprehend it and wrestled with it for a long time. Then one morning he burst out of his study and exclaimed that he saw it: God crying out to God. The key, as Les teaches, is that Christ is God, the Creator Himself, a member of the Godhead.

Psalms 110:1

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
