Where do we get a picture of Christ's glory as it appeared to men?
A picture of Christ's glory as it appeared to men is given at the Mount of Transfiguration, where Peter, James, and John saw Him literally glorified in their presence. He took on such glory that even His clothing radiated the very glory of heaven.
Les explains that the Mount of Transfiguration gives a little picture of Christ's glory, when Peter, James, and John had the opportunity of seeing Him literally glorified in their presence. He took on such glory that even His clothing radiated the very glory of heaven. This connects with the believer's glorification: though we cannot see it on each other, God sees it when He looks upon us, because He sees Christ Jesus, and He sees us as not only justified but also glorified.
