Les Feldick Bible Study

What happens to a person who rejects God's love?

When a person spurns God's love, God in His sovereignty has every right to reject them at the Great White Throne. Such a person remains under the wrath of a righteous God, having refused the love He extended through the cross to every human being.

Les explains that God created mankind to have someone He could love and a creature who could respond to that love, which is the whole idea of the marriage relationship. God extends His love to the whole human race, and the cross was the whole idea that He loved us and gave Himself for us. He then has every right to expect that love to be responded to. When people ask how a God of love and mercy can send people to an eternal hell, Les says that is what God does because He has already loved them to the very extent that heaven could offer. When a human being spurns that love, God in His sovereignty has every right to reject them at the Great White Throne. This Book was given to the human race for basically the sole purpose of helping people escape this wrath of a righteous God.
