What will the same power that raised Jesus from the dead do for us?
The same Holy Spirit power that raised Jesus from the dead, when He dwells in a believer, will raise us from the fallen position Adam brought us into and will quicken or make alive our mortal bodies by His Spirit dwelling in us.
Les teaches that the verse 11 passage implies the Trinity: God the Father used the power of the Holy Spirit to raise the Son. If that same Holy Spirit dwells in you, then the same power that raised Christ from the dead will raise us from the position Adam made us fall into. He further explains that God, who raised up Christ from the dead, shall also quicken or make alive your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you. Les also points to Ephesians chapter 2 as using almost the same identical language.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
