By what power was Jesus raised from the dead?

Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of God. Scripture states He was crucified through weakness, yet He lives, and His resurrection is explicitly attributed to the power of God. That same divine power performs the spiritual circumcision made without hands, cutting off the old Adam at salvation.

Les explains that Jesus was crucified through weakness, yet He lives, and the resurrection is by the power of God. He connects this to Colossians 2:11, where believers are circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, performed by God's power. This spiritual circumcision puts off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, cutting off the old Adam so he is superfluous. The result is entering into the body of Christ, feasting on the old corn of the land rather than manna. Les also notes Hebrews 5, where Paul urges getting off the baby bottle and milk and moving to a diet of meat.
