Where does most of Christendom get its basic doctrine, and do they credit Paul for it?

Most of Christendom gets its basic doctrine and everything else from within Paul's writings, the Apostle of the Gentiles. Despite this reliance, they seem never to give him the credit, and some even question whether Paul should be in the Bible.

Les teaches that he has made a lot of Paul and makes no apology, because Paul claims to be the Apostle of the Gentiles. It is within Paul's writings that most of Christendom gets its basic doctrine and everything else, yet they will never give him the credit it seems. He illustrates this by noting people who say their Sunday school teacher or preacher detests Paul's writings and cannot see why they are in the Bible. A lady in his Oklahoma class said she never quite believed him until she heard someone ask how anyone can believe what Paul writes, saying he should not even be in our Bible. Les says that may be stronger than most, but it reflects a subconscious feeling many have—that Paul is far out, so don't pay attention to him—even though it is foundational to our salvation and Christian experience to realize what this Apostle is saying. He calls Christ indwelling a Pauline doctrine, especially for the Gentile believer.
