Do Christians get their doctrines from Paul but ignore him?

Yes. Much of Christendom derives its church government, communion service, and other doctrinal practices from Paul's letters, especially Timothy and 1 Corinthians, yet often refuses to acknowledge him. The mystery truths for the church age all come from Paul's pen, but many still ignore him despite depending on his instructions.

Les teaches that Paul is the one who reveals the various doctrines and the whole composite of truth that makes for the church age, and all the mysteries come from Paul's pen. He illustrates this by asking someone why he makes so much of Paul, then showing that even denominational structures—pastors, deacons, and church elders—come from Timothy, which Paul wrote. The communion service also does not get its instructions from Jesus' words at the Last Supper; those instructions come from 1 Corinthians 11. Les says that in every facet of what 99% of Christendom practices doctrinally, they get it from Paul, yet they never give him the time of day. He calls that amazing, then returns to Ephesians 3:3-4 about the mystery made known by revelation.
