What will believers be like when Jesus comes?

When Jesus appears, believers will be like Him, for they shall see Him as He is. Though what they shall be is not yet fully revealed, this much is known: the children of God will be like Christ at His coming, sharing His likeness forever.

Les teaches that believers are already children of God, even though the world does not recognize them and may consider them odd. The full nature of our eternal future is beyond human comprehension, but the certainty is this: when Jesus Christ appears—and He is coming—believers shall be like Him, for they shall see Him as He is. Les also connects this to the coming of the Prince of Peace, noting that true peace for Jerusalem and the world will only come when He returns.

1 John 3:2

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
