Is Romans 8 too deep for ordinary people or even young kids to understand?

Les teaches that Romans 8 is not too deep for ordinary people or young kids because it is the Word of God brought right down to the level of every human being. He states that even 12- and 13-year-old kids can comprehend this chapter. As he opens chapter 8, he stops at what would ordinarily be the first word, “therefore,” and points out that “therefore” or “wherefore” sends you back to why the statement is being made. He notes that Paul uses the word in a somewhat different setting than usual. Les also says he does not use commentaries and was warned to beware of them, though he has a couple of books by two PhD theologians, one British and one American, both now with the Lord. One of them argues that this “therefore” does not go back to chapter 7 but to Romans 5:1, where being justified by faith gives peace with God.
