Why will God definitely return to be Israel's king and give them the kingdom?

God will definitely return as Israel's king and give them the kingdom because He has promised it; His “I will” is a promise, and His promises are certain even when people lose sight of them or become impatient. Time poses no obstacle, since God is eternal and not bound by human timetables.

Les explains that just as God’s promise to Abraham about Isaac was certain, so are the promises concerning the nation of Israel. God has promised that He is yet going to return and be their king, and that He is yet going to give them the kingdom. It is promised. Les says it will happen because God has said it. Man doesn’t go on God’s timetable and gets impatient, but with God, who is eternal, time doesn’t mean anything. Even a long wait does not cancel the certainty of what God has promised.
