Is Jesus the eternal creator God of the universe?
Yes. The Lord Jesus whom believers serve, the very author and finisher of faith, is the eternal creator God of the universe. Scripture presents Him as the Messiah, the Christ, the all in all, and warns against reducing Him to merely another prophet or name among gods.
Les explains that Israel's history led up to the coming of the Messiah, the Christ, who is overall blessed of God forever. He warns that New Age teaching reduces Christ to just another prophet or name among the gods, and believers must not be taken in by such theology. Rather, Les emphasizes that the Lord Jesus we serve, the author and finisher of our faith, is the eternal creator God of the universe, and he will never stop emphasizing that. He then points to Colossians 1:15 as a good verse.
