How should believers serve God on weekdays compared to weekends?

Believers are to serve God every day alike, with no day set above another. Monday through Friday should be treated with the same devotion as Saturday or Sunday. Sunday is not presented in Scripture as a special holy day above the other six days; all such distinctions were nailed to Christ's cross, leaving believers free.

Les explains that in this age of grace the Scriptures do not prescribe a system of worship that elevates one day over others. Paul in Romans 13 says not to regard one day higher than another but to regard every day alike. While Paul allows gathering and bringing offerings on the first day of the week, resurrection day, that does not make Sunday a holy day above the other six. Every day is alike for the believer, so we serve God just as much Monday through Friday as Saturday and Sunday. Les also points to Galatians 4, where Paul warns against legalism and the Judaizers who tried to add law-keeping; legalism appeals to human ego, but God will have none of it.
