What is the time of Jacob's trouble?

It is the final seven years of human history, primarily the time of Israel's trouble. During this period God deals with Israel in wrath and vexation, yet brings forth a remnant of believers from them. Jacob represents Israel, and this time is unlike any other in history.

Les explains from verse 7 that this day is great and none is like it, and it is even the time of Jacob, whom he identifies as Israel. He teaches that this seven-year period is primarily the time of Israel's trouble, when God will be dealing with them in His wrath and vexation. The end result is that out of them will come a remnant of believers, and Les reminds us that all through Scripture God has had a remnant.
