What did Peter, James, and John see at the Transfiguration?

At the Transfiguration, Peter, James, and John saw Christ literally glorified in their presence. He took on such a glory that even His clothing radiated the very glory of heaven. This event provided a picture of Christ's glory. They had the opportunity of seeing Him in that glorified state.

Les teaches that on the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter, James, and John were given a little picture of Christ's glory. They saw Him literally glorified in their presence, and He took on such glory that even His clothing radiated the very glory of heaven. Les ties this to the believer's glorification: though we do not walk around with a halo or an angelic presence, God has already glorified us. When God looks upon the believer, He does not see the individual but sees Christ Jesus. This should excite the believer.
