Why is the universe still being created and moving outward?
The universe is still being created and moving outward because God is infinite and His creative Word has no boundary or outer shell. What is seen was not made from visible things; everything came out of nothing when He spoke it into being, so creation continues beyond human comprehension.
Les teaches that through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the Word of God: He spoke, and it all came into being. If astronomers say everything is still being created and moving further and further outward, Les can believe that because God is infinite—there is no putting an outer shell on God's creation. The things seen and tangible were not made out of things that appear; everything created came out of nothing. This is for believers, who can comprehend it, not the unbeliever.
