What is the fruit of a believer married to Christ?
The fruit of a believer's union with Christ is other believers—spiritual children born through soul winning and witness. As children are the fruit of a husband-wife marriage, new believers won to Christ become the fruit of that spiritual marriage relationship.
Les explains that just as an apple tree is planted for fruit and a husband and wife normally desire children, God looks for fruit from the believer's marriage to Christ. That fruit is other believers. It is produced through soul winning and witness, as believers win lost people to Christ and they become spiritual fruit. Les says he rejects any Christianity that forces this on people, yet he has a deep concern for the spiritual needs of the lost, because most of humanity is going to a devil's hell and God has always had only a small remnant.
