What responsibility do we have because God's grace is for the whole world?
Because God's grace is poured out for the whole world, our responsibility is to let the world know that His grace reaches even the vilest person. Since sin abounds, God's grace is always greater. Those under grace are not under law, so they are to declare that no sinner is beyond the reach of God's grace.
Les explains that Paul's gospel declares God has poured out His grace not only upon America or Israel but upon the whole world. That worldwide scope becomes the believer's responsibility: to let the world know that the grace of God reaches to the vilest person. Les connects this to the principle that where sin abounds, the grace of God is always greater. He illustrates it with Dwight L. Moody, who preached on the grace of God in Chicago; after the audience left, a weeping man said God's grace could not help him because he had recruited for the prostitution trade and caused countless young girls to become drug addicts, alcoholics, murdered, or suicides. Moody told him that is the grace of God. Les says this shows grace goes far beyond the most vile sinner, almost unbelievable except the Word clearly declares it, and he repeats that believers are not under law but under grace.
