What is the center of all prophetic events on the planet?
The center of all prophetic events on the planet is the little nation of Israel. The context explains that Satan still tries to disrupt God's total program by getting rid of Israel and the Jew, yet Scripture guarantees this nation will never fade off the scene.
Les teaches that in the whole big picture, everything that is going to happen prophetically to this planet is centered in the little nation of Israel. He explains that Satan is still trying to disrupt God's total program by getting rid of the nation of Israel and the Jew. Les calls one of the most sinister things the report that 52% of all Jewish marriages are now mixed marriages, but he notes Scripture has guaranteed this nation will never fade off the scene. He connects this to Matthew 24, where Jesus gives the parable of the fig tree: when the branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know summer is near. Likewise, when all these things are seen, the return of Christ is near, even at the door. Les adds that 'this generation' in verse 34 does not mean a generation in time, like 40, 50, or 60 years.
