Where is everything that will happen prophetically to this planet centered?

Les explains that in the whole big picture, everything that is going to happen prophetically to this planet is centered in that little nation of Israel. Satan is still trying to disrupt God's total program by getting rid of the nation of Israel and getting rid of the Jew. Les mentions one sinister development, reporting that 52% of all Jewish marriages are now mixed marriages, Jews marrying Gentiles, yet Scripture has guaranteed this nation will never fade off the scene. He connects this to Matthew 24 and Jesus' graphic statement in verse 32 about learning the parable of the fig tree: when the branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know summer is nigh. That is a prophetic picture; likewise, when you see all these things, know that the return of Christ is near, even at the door. Verse 34 says "this generation," which Les says does not mean a generation in time like 40, 50, or 60 years.
