Are we accountable for the new revelations Paul brought?

We are accountable for the new revelations given through Paul. These truths had never been revealed before, and we will be judged according to the Book, not by denominational background or loyalty. The latest will illustration shows the new revelation takes precedence.

Les explains that Paul came with new revelations—things that had never been revealed before—and this is what we are going to be held accountable for. He uses the illustration of two wills: if you made a will years ago but later drew up a new one and placed it in the same strong box, after your death the latest will is the one declared valid. In the same way, Scripture's new revelation through Paul takes precedence. Les stresses that denominations can be stringent, wanting their people to receive only what they teach, but that is fine only if it lines up with the Book. When we stand before the Lord, He will not ask about denominational loyalty or look at our denominational background; we will be judged according to the Book, not according to what Les says, but according to what the Book says.
