What does the righteousness of God mean?

The righteousness of God means that God can never do anything amiss, otherwise He would not be God. It tells us that whatever God does is absolutely fair, just, and right. God cannot act contrary to His own character. Thus, all His dealings are marked by perfect fairness and justice.

Les explains that the righteousness of God is tied directly to God's nature. He can never do anything amiss, otherwise He would not be God. Therefore, whatever God does is going to be absolutely fair, just, and right. Les also reminds us that when we stand before the Lord, we will be judged according to the Book, not according to denominational background or what any teacher says.
