Will the human mind, will, and emotions exist forever?
Yes, the human mind, will, and emotions will exist forever. This personality was created in Adam directly from the Creator and is spirit, not physical. It will live somewhere forever, and even the wicked in the lake of fire will not be annihilated; Scripture says forever and ever.
Les explains that since this mind, will, and emotion was created in Adam and came straight from the Creator Himself, it will not last merely 100 or 200 years and disappear. Because we are dealing in the realm of the Spirit, that personality—the mind, will, and emotions—will live somewhere forever. The lake of fire itself will not be living, but those there will not end. Les warns against believing in annihilation, saying Scripture does not teach it; every verse he knows concerning the wicked in their doom says forever and ever and ever for all eternity. This is because it is an eternal, created thing from God. Every person as a son of Adam is born with a body dwelling this sin-bent, anti-God personality.
