How much human suffering and evil has resulted from Adam's fall?

Adam's fall resulted in 6,000 years of human suffering, degradation, corruption, evil, and wickedness. It all began in the garden when Adam rebelled and ate, making mankind a fallen race totally disobedient to everything God says. Romans 3 identifies this as the problem needing God's provided remedy.

Les teaches that Genesis chapter 3 records the account of sin and all its horrendousness making its appearance when Adam rebelled and ate. Understanding that chapter explains why mankind is a fallen race, totally disobedient to everything God says. As a result of their fall, there have been 6,000 years of human suffering, degradation, corruption, evil, wickedness—and it all began back there in the garden. God then comes to the conclusion in Romans chapter 3 that this is the problem, and the only remedy is the remedy God Himself has provided. This flies in the face of human reasoning. Verses ahead show it is not a pretty picture: that is what God sees whenever He looks at a human being still in old Adam. The unbelieving individual is an opulent sepulcher, mouth full of cursing, with no fear of God.
