How does God describe the unbelieving person?

God describes the unbelieving person as an opulent sepulcher, whose mouth is full of cursing, and who has no fear of God. Such individuals remain in old Adam as lost, and God sees them as a fallen, disobedient, and corrupt race.

Les teaches that this description comes from Romans chapter 3, where God concludes mankind is a fallen race, totally disobedient to everything He says. The fall in Genesis 3 brought 6,000 years of human suffering, degradation, corruption, evil, and wickedness. The unbelieving individual is still in old Adam, and God sees them as an opulent sepulcher, with a mouth full of cursing and no fear of God. That is the picture of every lost person. Paul says 'we know' this is solid ground, basic scriptural fact, not wishful thinking. The only remedy is the one God Himself provided.

Romans 3:19

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
