What will happen if we do not teach the Gospel of Grace as Romans intends it to be taught?
If the Gospel of Grace is not taught as Romans intends, we will be accused by some, just as Paul was slanderously accused. They will claim we teach that one can live as ungodly as they want so that God's grace may be checked out. That is not what it means.
Les explains that a British theologian's commentary on Romans 6 warned that if we do not teach and proclaim the Gospel of Grace as this book intends, we will be accused by some. Just as Paul was slanderously reported, people will tell us that if that is the way it is, then we are telling them they can live as ungodly as they want so they can check out the grace of God. Paul says their condemnation is just for those who claim we say, 'Let us do evil, that good may come.' Les affirms that this is not what it means.
