Does God give life and breath to everyone or only to believers?
God gives life and breath to all people, not only to believers. Scripture declares that the Creator gives to all life, breath, and all things, having made every nation from one blood. His provision is universal, extending even to pagan Greeks who lacked written Scripture, so all might seek and find Him.
Les teaches from Paul’s address that the God who made the world and all things in it gives life, breath, and all things to all people, not just believers. He made all nations from one blood, out of Adam, and determined their appointed times and the bounds of their habitation so they should seek the Lord and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us. Even the pagan Greeks, with no exposure to Judaism and no written Scripture, should have had knowledge of the Creator God. Les also notes the Word of God was once written in the stars, understood by Adam and the pre-flood patriarchs, though Satan adulterated it.
Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
