How are justification, redemption, and forgiveness related?

Justification, redemption, and forgiveness are intertwined aspects of salvation that all fit together. Through His blood comes forgiveness of sins; imputed righteousness brings justification and redemption; and if a person is redeemed, they are forgiven. These invisible realities are known by faith, not by physical evidence, being confirmed by God's promises.

Les teaches that justification, redemption, and forgiveness are not isolated doctrines but all fit together in fulfilling salvation. They are tied to His blood and the forgiveness of sins, and to imputed righteousness: when we have imputed righteousness, we are justified and redeemed, and if redeemed, we are forgiven. He notes these are just part of a longer list of 12 or 13 items that work together. Because they are intangible and invisible, no plaque or decree proves them; we know they happened by faith, resting on the promises of the book. He illustrates this with a lady who had just come to the Lord, telling her that doubts might come tomorrow, so she should return to the verses and claim God's promises aloud.
