What is justification in the Bible?

Justification is the judicial act of God whereby He declares the sinner who believes just as if he had never sinned. It is freely given, without a cause, not because we deserve it, but when we believe. God sees the justified person as He saw Adam before the fall.

Les explains that to justify someone is to declare them just as if nothing had ever happened. Justification is that judicial act of God whereby He declares the sinner who believes just as if he'd never sinned. It is being justified freely, without a cause, not because God was cornered or because we deserved it. Even though we are born sinners as sons of Adam, God justifies us freely when we believe. This is hard to comprehend but is biblical truth.
