Where did Paul go first when he started ministering in a new city?

When Paul began ministering in a new city in Acts, he went first to the synagogue of the Jews. That was a logical starting point because Israel had been God's covenant people, steeped in His Word, and were the writers of Scripture.

Les explains that as Paul began his earthly ministry in the Book of Acts, every place he went, he went first to the synagogue of the Jew. It was a logical place to start because Israel had been the covenant people of God, steeped in the Word of God, and the very writers of the Book. After about 30 some years, and they continued to reject it, Paul comes to that final statement: from henceforth we go to the Gentiles, because Israel as a nation was rejecting it. For the last 1900 and some years, the Gospel has been going primarily to the Gentiles, but it is still open to a Jew, who must come the same way, because there is no difference.
