What portion of Scripture does the church need today?

The church today needs the writings of the apostle Paul, which are the most neglected portion of Scripture. Neglecting this apostle is the reason for the demise of the church's power. Many pulpits focus on Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, but those are not the portion the church needs now.

Les explains that the writings of Paul are the most neglected in Scripture today, and this neglect is the reason for the demise of the power of the church. He notes that churches may be filled with members but are spiritually destitute, as Revelation describes the Laodicean church: rich, with huge sanctuaries, gymnasiums, and tennis courts, yet poor, miserable, wretched, and blind. Many pulpits only preach Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; while that is Scripture, it is not the portion the church needs today. Les says this neglect of Paul, the very basis of our faith, explains why everything is falling apart spiritually, not materially. Paul, the least of the apostles, had to defend his apostleship, having been steeped in Judaism, a Pharisee of the Pharisees from the tribe of Benjamin, and Les suggests he was a member of the Sanhedrin, a Jew's Jew.
