According to Les, what set everything free?

Les explains that God had long before ordained that the gospel of grace should not go east to the Orient but west to Europe. Paul was directed by a night vision to Macedonia, which is northern Greece, and he immediately went there. Les tells his classes to thank God in prayer that He sent Paul to Europe rather than back to Asia, because when the gospel went to Europe, it reached our forefathers and set everything moving in Europe. The Reformations, the Industrial Revolution, and all the technology that came out of Europe, Les says, is what set everything free.
