What did Barnabas and Saul do during their first year in Antioch?

During their first year in Antioch, Barnabas and Saul assembled together with the church and taught much people. The disciples there, primarily Gentiles, were first called Christians in Antioch, because Antioch was being presented with Paul's Gospel, differentiating it from the Judaistic believers in Jerusalem.

Les explains that Barnabas told Saul things were happening at Antioch and that God had revealed Saul was the man with the message for the Gentiles. Barnabas brought him to Antioch, and for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught much people. Les points out that the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch, not Jerusalem. The Jerusalem believers had only believed Jesus was the Messiah of Israel and remained under the Judaistic umbrella, but these Antioch believers received Paul's Gospel: that He had died for them, His blood had been shed for their sin, and He had been raised from the dead. This truth had been a secret held in the mind of God until it was revealed.

Acts 11:26

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
