Why didn't anyone lack in the early church before Acts 6?
Before Acts 6, the early Jewish believers were of one mind and one accord, with no discord or doctrinal disagreement, and no one lacked because the shared treasury was full. The twelve apostles had control, and the believers' unity and full fund supplied everyone's needs until murmuring arose.
Les teaches that for seven years things were going great: no discord, no disagreement of doctrine, and the twelve were in complete control. In the first five chapters, the believers were all of one mind and one accord, no one lacked, and everyone had what they needed because the kitty was full. Then Acts 6 marks the first signs of trouble in paradise: the disciples multiplied, and murmuring arose because the fund was getting short. The murmuring was Grecians against Hebrews; a Grecian was a non-Palestine Jew, not a pure Gentile Greek.
