If God gave His Son for us, will He also give us everything we need?

Yes. Since God did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, He will also with Him freely give us all things. If He was willing to give the best, He will not withhold what believers need; He will freely supply everything we need.

Les explains that this follows Paul's argument in Romans. If God was willing to give the best that ever inhabited Heaven and put Him to the shame and suffering of the cross for us, is there anything else He can withhold? No. Les says He will freely give us everything that we need. This also rests on the truth, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" Paul continues that no one can lay anything to the charge of God's elect, because it is God who justifies. Even when God changes His program from Jew to Gentile, God has not changed.

Romans 8:32
