When will the world understand why Israel is the litmus of God's whole operation?

Les teaches that it is a sovereign God at work, and the nations stumble over Israel. They will stumble over Jerusalem until Christ comes and becomes the King of kings and Lord of lords. Until then, the world cannot comprehend how and why this little nation, only a few million people, is the litmus of the whole operation. God's plan was to deal with the Gentiles through this covenant people, Israel, who were to take salvation to the Gentiles. In Isaiah 42:1, God speaks of His servant, singular, the Christ, the Messiah, who shall bring forth judgment or rule to the Gentiles. In Isaiah 49:6-7, God says it is a light thing that His servant should raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved of Israel, and He will also give him as a light to the Gentiles, that He may be His salvation to the end of the earth.
