Where did Daniel prophesy the Antichrist defiling the temple in the middle of the final week?

Daniel prophesied this in Daniel chapter 9, around verse 25. There it is determined that in the middle of the final week the Antichrist would come into the temple and defile it. The Lord Jesus later referred to this event in Matthew 24, confirming its prophetic significance.

Les teaches that this was all determined back in Daniel chapter 9, about verse 25. In the middle of that final week, the Antichrist would come into the temple and defile it. The Lord Jesus Himself referred to this in Matthew 24. Les explains that all these things had to happen, and Peter knew that, which is why he said in verse 21 that even though the Lord was ready to return if Israel would repent, it would still have to wait until that period of restitution of all things, which is the tribulation. He notes Peter is still speaking to the great crowd of Jews, and this takes us back to Moses' role in Israel's life as deliverer and redeemer, bringing them out of slavery and unto Abraham's God. Les also points out that Peter is still on covenant ground, and that if Israel had repented, no unbelieving Jews would go in, since no unbeliever will ever go into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Daniel 9:25

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
