What happens during the times of restitution of all things?

The times of restitution involve seven horrible years of tribulation for Israel. This period includes the lifting of the curse, the defeat of Satan, and the regeneration of the earth, making it gloriously beautiful again for the kingdom reign. Christ's enemies are made His footstool before Israel receives her King and kingdom.

Les teaches that verse 21 says heaven must receive Jesus until the times of restitution of all things, which God spoke by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Les explains that before the King and kingdom could come on the scene, Israel especially had to go through seven horrible years of restitution. That period includes the lifting of the curse, the tribulation, the defeat of Satan, and the earth being regenerated and made gloriously beautiful again for the kingdom reign. Les also points to Psalm 110:1, where the Father says to sit at His right hand until His enemies are made His footstool, which would be done during the tribulation. Then Israel could have her King and kingdom, and Peter was expecting it. Les notes that Peter may have forgotten Jesus' earlier indication of his ignominious death, being enraptured with the idea that if Israel repented and believed, their Messiah would return and they could yet have the kingdom.
