What does Peter neglect to mention in Acts 3:15?

Peter neglects to mention the full sequence of His death, burial, and resurrection, and he does not even allude to it. Instead, he reminds these Israelites who Jesus really was, and that faith in His name is what made the man whole.

Les explains that in Acts 3:15 Peter says, “You killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses,” and that through faith in His name this man was made strong. Les points out that Peter neglects to mention His death, burial, and resurrection, and does not even allude to it. Instead, Peter is reminding the Israelites who Jesus really was, and that faith in that name made the man whole. Les then goes to verse 17, where Peter says they acted in ignorance. Les connects this to Israel’s ancient history under the law, the years of jubilee, and the cities of refuge. He illustrates with a Jewish farmer clearing rocks who accidentally kills a wayfaring pilgrim; the farmer could run to a city of refuge, and if the city fathers judged it was total ignorance, they would send him home a free man.
