How much Bible knowledge do most church members have?

Les teaches that the average professing Christian is in reality a practicing secular humanist. They claim to be believers and Christians, but in the workaday world they fit right in with secular humanism. Why? Because they are so ignorant of the Bible. He clarifies that "ignorant" does not mean short on brainpower; he says he is average in brainpower but totally ignorant of many things. Most church members, he says, are totally ignorant of this book and know just a little bit of the stuff they have scratched off the surface. Consequently, with so little biblical knowledge, they embrace secular humanism and do not even know what they are doing. Les says he wants no compensation; he just wants people to wake up and realize there is so much in this book to learn, which will help as a nation in day-to-day living and good citizenship. He also notes that young people have no sense of right and wrong because they do not know what this book says.
