In whose lives does the Old Testament symbolize the Second Coming?

The Old Testament symbolizes the Second Coming especially in the lives of Moses and Joseph. These two figures serve as allegorical or symbolic types, as the Old Testament alludes to the Second Coming by symbol, not merely by direct prediction. Their lives prefigure the Second Coming and the establishment of the Kingdom.

Les explains that the Old Testament alludes to the Second Coming allegorically, or by symbol, especially in the lives of Moses and Joseph. He notes this is seen most clearly in Acts chapter 7, where Stephen rehearses Israel's history from Abraham down to the slavery in Egypt. Les also connects the Second Coming to God setting up His Kingdom for Israel, when fresh water will go out from Jerusalem and purify the Dead Sea.
