According to Paul, who baptizes believers into the body of Christ?

According to Paul, the Holy Spirit baptizes believers into the body of Christ. This marks a complete 180-degree turn from the earlier operation where Christ was the baptizer, placing Jews into the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul uniquely calls the church the body of Christ, into which the Spirit places believers.

Les teaches that in the early part of Acts, Jesus is the baptizer, baptizing the Jew into the power of the Holy Spirit. But Paul completely flips that operation: now the Holy Spirit becomes the baptizer, baptizing predominantly, though not exclusively, Gentiles into the body of Christ. This is a whole, complete, 180-degree turn. When Israel rejected it and that fell apart, God turned to the Gentile. The church, which is His body, is a term unique only to Paul, and the Spirit places believers into Christ.
