where did paul go after his jerusalem meeting with peter
After meeting Peter in Jerusalem around A.D. 40 for about two weeks, Paul traveled to the area of his old hometown, Tarsus. He eventually ended up at Antioch. From there he began his missionary journeys, later returning to Jerusalem for the Acts 15 council in A.D. 51.
Les teaches that Paul and Peter met in Jerusalem in A.D. 40, just for a short period, about two weeks, and none of the other apostles were present, just Paul and Peter. Then Paul went on up into the area of his old hometown of Tarsus, and he ended up at Antioch. From Antioch he began his missionary journeys. After he had been holding forth at Antioch and taking his gospel to the Gentiles, the Jerusalem believers got all shook up and called him down to Jerusalem for the council of Acts chapter 15, also referred to in Galatians chapter 2, which took place in A.D. 51.
