Where did Paul go after meeting Peter in Jerusalem?

After meeting Peter in Jerusalem for about two weeks, Paul traveled to the area of his old hometown, Tarsus, and eventually ended up at Antioch. From there he began his missionary journeys, taking the gospel to the Gentiles. This occurred after the Jerusalem visit in A.D. 40.

Les explains that Paul and Peter met in Jerusalem in A.D. 40 for just a short period, about two weeks, and none of the other apostles were present. Then Paul went on up into the area of his old hometown of Tarsus, ended up at Antioch, and began his missionary journeys. Later, after Paul had been holding forth at Antioch and taking his gospel to the Gentiles, the Jerusalem believers got all shook up and called him down to Jerusalem for the council of Acts chapter 15, also referred to in Galatians chapter 2, which took place in A.D. 51.
