How old was Peter compared with the other apostles?
Peter was probably the eldest of the twelve apostles. He was likely in his forties, while the rest of the apostles were probably in their early thirties. So he was older than the other apostles. This indicates he was the oldest among them.
Les teaches that Peter was probably the eldest of the twelve apostles. He thinks Peter was up in his forties, while the rest were probably in their early thirties. Les says he has several reasons for thinking this. He also notes Peter's lifestyle was fishing, and that Peter loved the Sea of Galilee. In the context, Peter says, 'I go fishing,' showing he returned to his former way of life even after seeing the resurrected Lord.
