Les Feldick Bible Study

What has God the Father made believers meet or qualified to receive?

The Father has qualified believers to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, delivering them from the power of darkness and translating them into the kingdom of His dear Son, in whom they have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins according to His grace.

Les explains that Paul writes to a Gentile congregation, giving thanks unto the Father who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. The Father hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. In the Son we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Les also notes that grace cancels out anything we can do to merit; grace says God does it only because He loves us, not because we deserve it.
