Could Jesus have destroyed Jerusalem with one word when He stood before the governor?

Yes. The one standing before the governor was the Creator of the universe and of the men judging Him. Though meek as a lamb and silent, He could have annihilated the whole city of Jerusalem with one word. He did not do so.

Les explains that after the night-time mock trial, Jesus was brought before the Roman governor. He emphasizes who Jesus really is: the Creator of the whole universe and the Creator of the very men sitting in judgment over Him. Yet there He stood, meek as a lamb, not saying a word. Les points out what He could have done: with just one word, He could have annihilated the whole city of Jerusalem. Instead, He remained silent before that governor.
